Composition on Miyun Reservoir, the source of life in my hometown

I got up early today because our family is going to Miyun Reservoir today.

We set off on time by car. At about nine o'clock we arrived at the main dam of the Baihe River at the reservoir dam. After getting off the bus, the endless Shuida Reservoir appeared in front of us. After walking up a long flight of steps, three large fishery boats appeared in front of us, and we boarded one of them, a two-story boat. This is my first time on a two-story ship. I feel very fresh. I first walked around the first floor and saw a general cabin, a leadership cabin, and a service desk. Both cabins were filled with goodies. After finishing the turn, I followed the narrow and high steps to the second floor. The second floor is open-air, with a big table in the middle. People were already sitting around the table. I also found a seat and sat down. At this time, an aunt came over and gave me a box of potato chips, a bottle of water, and a Moon cake, I said happily: "Thank you, Auntie!" Auntie also kindly told us children to pay attention to safety. Several of us children nodded.

At this time, many people were looking out on the side of the ship. I also walked over and took a look. It turned out that the ship had already started moving, and the water at the stern was churning with white waves and flowing happily backwards. I also found that the small islands in the water were retreating. I looked at the dam and saw that we were already dozens of meters away from the shore. I looked far into the distance again. The water and sky in the distance were the same color, and I couldn't tell which was water and which was sky. It's like two huge pieces of blue satin, one hanging in the sky and one lying on the ground. It's very spectacular. Everyone was intoxicated by the scenery in front of them, and they all raised their cameras and took pictures. I did not miss these beautiful scenery and took many pictures. Unknowingly, someone shouted: ‘Look! There is a water bird. "I saw a gray water bird crossing the water and picking up a small fish in its mouth. Seeing this wonderful scene, I shouted happily. Many people also took pictures of the water birds. Time passed Quickly, we ended our trip very quickly. On the way back, everyone said that Miyun Reservoir is a piece of unpolluted water and its task is very arduous, which is to provide drinking water to Beijing.
