Is Shuangtaizi District of Panjin City Remote?

Panjin City, Liaoning Province governs Shuangtaizi District, which is located in the south of Songliao Plain, in the lower reaches of Liaohe River, on the coast of Bohai Sea, across the river from Xinglongtai District in the south, and adjacent to Panshan County in the north, with a land area of 1 12.9 square kilometers, and governs 6 streets and 2 towns. By the end of 2022, the resident population of the whole region was 210.3 million.

Shuangtaizi has four distinct seasons, abundant sunshine, rain and heat in the same season, and dry and cold in the same period. Seven rivers in the area, such as Liaohe River, Xiaoliu River, Taiping River, Yitong River, Biqugan, Xiqugan and Ditch Canal, are criss-crossed, with obvious characteristics of living next to Zhenhe River.
