Necessary advice for going abroad

The following suggestions on essential items for going abroad.

Dress

It's cold in winter, so you need to bring two cold-proof down jackets (one is 6-8 inches longer than the painted surface, and the other must be equipped with a hat), waterproof gloves and a hat. I suggest you bring more underwear and socks (10 sets should be prepared) and don't bring too thick woolen pants.

quilt

A quilt cover, two sheets, six towels, a pillow towel, an umbrella (preferably hard) and shoes with low flatness or flat bottom are easy to prevent slipping. Foreigners are used to washing machines and dryers, and their clothes get less sun, so quilts will shrink after dry cleaning. It is recommended to buy a larger quilt.

goods

It is suggested to prepare the necessary toiletries within one week and bring more skin care products to adapt to the cold and dry climate abroad. Please don't bring fresh plants and meat.

Small equipment

The specifications of foreign plugs are different from those in China. It is recommended to bring a conversion plug or buy it after adding it. Buying a computer abroad can facilitate the warranty, and the price is similar to that at home.

Drugs and chemical reagents

Everyone should bring some common medicines (mainly cold medicine, headache medicine, toothache medicine, skin medicine and diarrhea medicine). Medical insurance for new immigrants generally takes effect three months later, and medical insurance for students generally takes effect one month later.

cash

It is recommended to bring at least 6 months' living expenses, about $5,000, and the rest can be handled through international bank cards and remittances. It is recommended that you take small denominations of Canadian dollars, Hong Kong dollars and US dollars with you in case you need them during the trip.
