Can I go to Macau with an American green card and a China passport?

If you have a ticket to the United States or a visa and ticket to a third place, you can go to Macau and stay for 7 days.

China mainland residents who want to travel to Hong Kong and Macao should apply for a Hong Kong and Macao Pass and apply for a single or multiple endorsement.

If you use a Chinese mainland passport to enter Hong Kong/Macau, you need an air ticket (and visa) to a third place via Hong Kong/Macau. Otherwise, you may be refused entry. Even if you enter the country this time, returning to the mainland directly will be regarded as a violation of the transit rules. Violation of transit rules for three consecutive times will also be refused entry.

Please remember: China passport holders cannot go directly to Hongkong/Macau and return to the Mainland. This is a transit policy that Hong Kong/Macao is open to passengers holding China passports and Taiwan passes to fly to other countries and regions via Hong Kong/Macao.
