Suzhou Taibo Temple was built in Yongxing in the Eastern Han Dynasty for two years. It was built by Mi Bao, the magistrate of Wuxian at that time, at the order of the imperial court. It is the first temple in Jiangnan dedicated to Taibo, the ancestor of Wudi development, and the oldest ancestral temple in Suzhou.

First stop: Suzhou embroidery museum

The exhibition hall of Suzhou embroidery museum covers an area of about 300 square meters, which highly summarizes the long history of Suzhou embroidery art. Visitors can appreciate the evolution of Suzhou embroidery art from more than 200 works on display.

Second stop: Suzhou Museum of Traditional Chinese Medicine

The Museum of Traditional Chinese Medicine is located in Chunhui Hall, 330 Jingde Road. "Chunhui Hall" is the former residence of Shen Shixing, the first scholar in Suzhou during Jiajing period of Ming Dynasty.

The exhibits in the basic museum are divided into ceramics, bronzes, miscellaneous items, ancient Chinese medicine books, statues of famous doctors, relics of famous doctors, Chinese medicine specimens and so on.
