Brief Introduction of Xinzhan Town in jiaohe city

Xinzhan Town is located in the remaining vein of Changbai Mountain, north of Jiaohe River 17 km. The town covers an area of 605 square kilometers and the urban area is 3.7 square kilometers. It is 1952, one of the first established towns in China. It borders shulan city and Qianjin Township in the northeast, Rafah Town and Nangangzi Township in the south and Tiangang Town in the west. There are Dahuangdingzi Mountain in the east, Laoyeling Mountain in the northwest and Lafalazi Mountain in the south, surrounded by mountains to form a new station basin. There are Longfeng River in the east, Laoyeling River in the west and Zhumin River in the north. Three rivers meet at the southern end of the new station and flow into Songhua Lake via jiaohe city. The highest peak in the territory is Xitu Mountain, with an altitude of 1 189.6 meters. It now governs 3 1 administrative village, 122 natural villages, 2 streets and 10 neighborhood committees. The total population of the town is 47,000, of which the urban population is 1.8 million.
