It has been more than two months since I applied for an American visa. What if there is no news? How to ask?

The application is currently undergoing the necessary administrative hearing. The trial may take several weeks. Please follow the instructions of the visa officer during the interview.

Special tips

1. Non-immigrant visa applicants are advised to apply at least three months before travel.

The visa office of the embassy is not allowed to bring food and any liquid, including drinks. It is also not allowed to bring any electronic equipment, including mobile phones, so it is recommended not to bring anything except keys, wallets and visa application folders.

3. The whole area of the visa office of the American Embassy is under the monitoring of the American government. Watch your words and deeds. Everything is under the surveillance of the camera, which is likely to affect the visa result.

Honesty is very important in the interview. Misleading, lying and/or submitting relevant false materials may lead to permanent refusal.
