In Baiyu Village, there has been a habit of singing opera since ancient times. Adults and children in the village can sing a song. Before the Cultural Revolution, our village sang for five days and five nights without stopping from the first day of the first month to the fifth day of the first month. From the sixth day, go out and sing somewhere else. At its peak, it performed at the Old Beijing Grand Theatre. The existing operas are Bangzi Opera, Yangko Opera and Bungee Jumping Opera. Legend has it that Bangzi Opera came from Shanxi and Yangko Opera was brought by immigrants from Henan. At the time of liberation, there were still 379 plays. At present, there are only 30 plays due to the sharp decline of the population and the lack of young people in the village. But the style and singing are the same. There is an auditorium with props, costumes and musical instruments. Tourists come to get together with fellow villagers and sing a cantata when there are few people. It's fun to play him when there are many people.
