What are the requirements for class attendance in Singapore?

The Immigration Department of Singapore requires Singaporean students to attend classes at least 90% per month, otherwise the visa will be refused. If students studying in Singapore need to take time off due to illness during their studies, they need to apply to the dean of the school and provide a sick leave form issued by a regular doctor before they can take time off. Anyone who has taken leave or returned to China for more than 60 days must re-submit an application to the Singapore Immigration Bureau after the student visa expires. Details are as follows:

1. Students must go to school five days and five hours a week. If they are more than 15 minutes late, they will be regarded as absent.

2. Students need to keep at least 90% attendance throughout the semester.

Attendance will be calculated according to the daily punching and signature. If attendance does not reach 90%, students will receive a warning letter. If students don't come to school for three consecutive days without a doctor's certificate, they will also receive a warning letter from the school. If a student is absent from class for 7 consecutive days, the school will notify the Immigration Bureau.

4. Only accept medical certificates issued by local clinics; Foreign medical certificates in non-English need to be notarized in English before they can be accepted.

5. The Singapore Immigration Bureau has the right to refuse the application for student permission of Singapore students whose attendance rate is less than 90%.
