Why is the fate of the British colony in North America 13 different from that of the Spanish colony in Central and South America?

This question is quite complicated, so I'll briefly talk about what I understand!

I think a very important problem is that before the independence of the United States, the people there had formed a national consciousness, and they began to be proud of living in this new continent, instead of taking their original country or Britain as the suzerain!

The immigrants in North America are mainly white, and their cultural source is European culture, especially the Puritan tradition, which makes it easier for them to form spiritual identity.

However, as far as South America is concerned, there are more aborigines there. They belong to different countries (ethnic groups) or tribes, and their national consciousness is not strong, or even not at all!

In addition, the Spanish are the masters there, at least the mainstream people are. They are not only plundering, but also exploiting (unlike North American immigrants who are mainly engaged in production activities). It is impossible to easily turn against their patron, Spain's home country, so there is no need to establish a new unified country in South America.
