Where is the beauty of Qiao Feng?

This scenic spot has a long history. Since the Sui and Tang Dynasties, the ancient canal gave birth to prosperous towns in Qiao Feng. The incense of Hanshan Temple, built in the Liang Dynasty, continues to this day. A night-mooring near maple bridge, written by Zhang Ji in the Tang Dynasty, depicts the ethereal and spacious artistic conception here, making the scenic spot a place that Chinese and foreign tourists yearn for. The Ming Dynasty's resistance against the Japanese invaders left the remains of the Iron Bell Pass, which became the barrier of the West Gate of Suzhou. Qiao Feng Scenic Area is 3.5km away from Suzhou Ancient City and covers an area of 10 hectare. It is a provincial-level scenic spot with Hanshan Ancient Temple, Jiangfeng Ancient Bridge, Tieling Ancient Pass, Qiao Feng Ancient Town and Ancient Canal as its main tour contents.

Qiao Feng Scenic Area has been planned and constructed since 1986, and has been included in the national tourism development plan by the National Tourism Administration. After years of development and construction, it has become a scenic spot with beautiful tourism environment, rich cultural landscape and the style of ancient towns in the south of the Yangtze River. At present, the scenic spots include Qiao Feng Garden, Tielingguan in Qiao Feng, the characteristic tourism project "Upstream of Qiao Feng Ancient Town" and Qiao Feng Bookstore.
