Neo-Nazism is a phenomenon of globalization. Large-scale immigration has caused dissatisfaction among local residents in countries with developed foreign populations, which is the main realistic background for neo-Nazis to make waves in recent years. Neo-Nazism is a political trend of thought after World War II, aiming at continuing the Nazi spirit, maintaining racial purity and emphasizing national superiority.

In the 1990s, neo-Nazism became increasingly rampant, which once again attracted the attention of the world. The ideological confusion caused by the drastic changes in the Soviet Union and Eastern Europe, the massive population flow to developed countries caused by economic globalization, and the dissatisfaction of developed countries with the foreign population are the main realistic roots of the rise of neo-Nazism. Due to its racist background and some problems and loopholes in legislation, the United States has become a "hotbed" for the spread of neo-Nazism in the world today. Websites with extreme right ideas that were banned in Europe were all transferred to the United States. In 2000, there were about 800 websites that spread extreme right ideas around the world, 90% of which were registered in the United States and Canada. Skinheads are the representative organizations of neo-Nazism. Russia has the largest skinhead party in the world, with more than 50,000 members. Russian skinheads were founded by Aleksandr Balka Schouw in 1992. April 20th, the day of Hitler's birth, is the founding day of the party. The party pursues ultra-nationalism, holds that Russian whites are supreme, advocates violence, calls itself a "warrior of its own nation and race", and excludes foreigners, especially African blacks and Asians. At present, Russian skinheads are spread all over more than 80 cities in China, and the number of their members is increasing by 20% every year.
