Where is Jianhe Village?

Jianhe Village is located at the southern end of Fengnan District, Tangshan City.

Near Bohai Bay, there is a new steep river in the east of the village, and a tributary of the coal river in the west. The two rivers meet at the south pier of the village.

According to the Records of Feng Run County in the Ten Years of Ming Dynasty, Jianhe Lizhuang was originally named Jianhe Store at 1573, and later changed to Jianhe Store for short, and its name "Jianhe Store" came from the intersection of two rivers.

Now it is divided into three administrative villages (one village, two villages and three villages), with a total population of nearly 5,000 people and a living area of about 6 square kilometers. There are more than 6,000 mu of fish and shrimp ponds, 32 large and small cold storage rooms, more than 40 nursery rooms and hundreds of ships.

Jianhe Village is located in the hinterland of Beijing-Tianjin and Bohai Economic Circle, and is closely connected with Caofeidian Industrial Zone and Tianjin Binhai New Area. The national central fishing port is magnificent and at the core of the coastal economic uplift zone. Coastal areas are mainly rich in seafood, and the common seafood are: marine fish, shrimp, crab, mollusk, cephalopod (octopus, squid, squid) and so on.

Villagers have been fishing for a living since ancient times. Before liberation, their industry was single and backward, and their life was hard. Great improvement has been made since the founding of the People's Republic of China, especially after the Third Plenary Session of the Seventh Central Committee. Fishery, aquaculture, aquatic refrigeration processing industry and aquatic seedling industry are increasingly developed, forming four pillar industries. The economy has advanced by leaps and bounds, becoming the earliest well-off village in Fengnan.
