When I got off the plane,
The first step: isolation.
If you are a direct tourist from Hongkong, Taiwan Province Province and the mainland, you can go through the customs directly without inspection. If tourists from Africa and America come to Australia, they must be quarantined.
Step 2: Immigration.
Immigration officials mainly check passports, visas and entry registration cards and ask simple questions, such as the purpose of coming to Australia? How long are you going to stay? Wait a minute. If you don't know or know a little English but can't express yourself accurately, the entry-exit inspection will generally arrange free translation services. It's best not to answer questions like riddles, so as not to cause unexpected misunderstandings. In recent years, the tide of illegal immigration is rampant, and the immigration inspection in Australia is becoming more and more strict. When the inspector stamps your passport with the entry stamp, it means that everything is correct and you are approved to enter the country. ?
Step 3: Claim the luggage.
When you pick up your checked baggage, you should check your baggage to avoid taking it by mistake. If the baggage is damaged or has not arrived, please contact the airport baggage office directly.
Step 4: Customs clearance (customs)
Under normal circumstances, the inspection of overseas tourists by Australian Customs is relatively lax, and oral customs declaration is mostly adopted. The inspector asked: anything? Do you have anything to declare? If you have nothing to declare, just answer: No, sir. However, if you bring something that must be declared and fail to declare it, the punishment is very severe. It is strictly forbidden to bring into Australia food containing meat (whatever packaging), plant seeds, eggs, animals and plants.
Second, go abroad.
1. Sign in at the airline counter where you stay to get your boarding pass and checked baggage.
2. Fill in the outbound passenger card.
3. Exit inspection mainly refers to document inspection, including passport, visa, exit card, air ticket, boarding pass, etc. Finally, the inspector will stamp the exit stamp on the passport.
4. Inspection of duty-free goods: Customs officers will take away the invoices on the duty-free goods packaging bags. If you need a tax refund, please go directly to the TRS (Tourism Tax Refund Scheme) counter to apply for a tax refund.
5. Enter the terminal of the flight and get ready for boarding.
Third, matters needing attention:
According to the regulations of China Customs, each person can carry no more than 20,000 RMB in cash or convert it into 5,000 US dollars or equivalent foreign currency; If it is exceeded, it must be declared before leaving China Customs.
Before leaving the country, you can bring your ID card to the nearest bank that can handle foreign exchange business. Every China resident can exchange the equivalent of US$ 50,000 or equivalent foreign currency every year; You need to make an appointment one day in advance to exchange Australian dollar cash. Please refer to the information given by the bank staff or the bank inquiry hotline for the specific foreign exchange information and business outlets.
Fourth, turn around
Usually, connecting flights in Australia are transferred to Qantas, but because there are several Qantas, you must first determine the airline name or abbreviation code on your ticket, and then find out where the connecting lounge of this airline is in the airport lobby. Usually, there are signs at the airport. When you find the transfer room, show your ticket to the staff there in exchange for the registration certificate, and check your luggage again. After that, all you have to do is wait for the airport bus from 10 to 15 minutes to take you to the domestic airport.
Guidance notes for entry into Australia

Entry card and declaration card: You need to fill in a yellow entry card and a white customs declaration card before you arrive at the customs entry hall and baggage claim area of the airport, which will be issued on the plane. When passing through the entry-exit hall, students need to show their passports and valid visas, and hand in the above two cards.
3. Prohibited articles and taxes: Be clear about which articles are prohibited before entering the country. You don't have to pay arrival tax when you arrive at the Australian airport, but you have to pay Australian dollar departure tax when you leave Australia.
4. Transportation: If you don't arrange to meet at the airport, you can take a taxi (more expensive) or take a bus to your residence.
