How long can you live in Singapore?

The period of time you can reside in Singapore varies with the type of visa. The specific differences are as follows:

1. Tourist visa 1 (EntryVisas1): length of stay in Singapore: 96 hours (i.e. 4 days); issued to groups traveling to Singapore. Group size is 2 people or more. Come in and out together, cannot be separated or extended.

2. Tourist Visa 2 (EntryVisas2): Can stay in Singapore for 14 days; suitable for individuals traveling to Singapore. No extensions allowed. A security deposit of SGD 1,000-3,000 is required.

3. Social Visit Pass: Can stay for 30 days and can be extended. Suitable for those who come to Singapore to visit relatives and friends. A Singapore citizen or permanent resident is required to sponsor. A deposit of SGD 1,000-3,000 is required to be paid to the Immigration Bureau. If you leave the country on time, there is no violation of law, and the deposit will be refunded.

4. Business visa (ProfessionalVisitPass): can stay for 14 days; suitable for people who come to Singapore to engage in business activities. An invitation and guarantee from a Singapore company is required. No extensions allowed.

5. Multiple entry and exit visa: This type of visa is designed to provide business managers from visa-required countries with the convenience of multiple entry into Singapore. Holders of this type of visa are allowed to enter the country multiple times during the validity period and can stay for up to 30 days per entry, and do not need to apply for each entry.
