My thoughts on reading "Farewell, Chinese Class" in the fifth grade of primary school

This winter vacation, I read many articles, but this article, "Farewell, Chinese Class", moved me deeply. This is an article I read from the simultaneous reading "Into the Book".

This article mainly talks about one of the things that the author He Zi experienced when he was in elementary school. The content of the story is this: Since she failed in silent reading for the third time, Mr. Zhang, the head teacher of their class, has paid more attention to He Zi's study. She was also moved from the fourth row to the first row. From now on, she would no longer be able to make small moves in Chinese class.

Once, He Zi suddenly learned that his family was going to immigrate to Central America and never come back. Moreover, they would leave in a month. She thought she could stop taking Chinese classes and study silently. In fact, I don’t like Chinese classes either, what are the important contents, article genres, word explanations, and punctuation marks. However, when I heard my mother say that if I wasn’t good at Chinese language, I wouldn’t be able to go to junior high school, so I had to study hard.

Unexpectedly, He Zi’s Chinese is getting better and better. Silent reading has also made great progress, from 30 points before to 100 points now. She increasingly couldn't bear to go to school.

How great it would be if I could continue to make progress like He Zi!
