Lovely Yulin (composition)
This ancient willow can be seen everywhere in this land. However, more than 2000 years ago, there were large elm forests everywhere. It is said that these elms were planted at that time to resist the rapid invasion of tarquin. These elms were planted by Qin Shihuang's 300,000 troops and later soldiers of Emperor Wu of Han Dynasty. The elm tree is gone, and the willow tree is ancient. Qin Shihuang and Han Wudi have long since disappeared, but there is a place name that has been used to this day-Yulin. Yulin City is located in the north of Shaanxi Province, more than 700 kilometers away from the ancient city of xi 'an. It is adjacent to Inner Mongolia, Shanxi, Ningxia and Gansu. It covers an area of more than 43,000 square kilometers and has a population of more than 3.4 million. Historically, Yulin has always been an ancient battlefield for the central plains regime and the northern nomadic people to compete with each other. Wei Great Wall, Qin Changcheng, Sui Great Wall and Ming Great Wall passed through here successively. On the Great Wall, we see that this huge pier is different from the Great Wall on both sides in shape and scale. This is Zhenbeitai, known as the first Great Wall in Wan Li. This huge pier is located on the red hill in the north of Yulin city. Zhenbeitai, whose original name means Weizhenbei, is the largest watchtower on the Great Wall in Ming Dynasty and an important military facility in Yulin. Its east and west sides are connected with the Great Wall, where you can see the piers, beacon towers and the intermittent and vague Great Wall of earth in the distance. Then, why did people in different periods build the Great Wall in Yulin? What we can see in Yulin today is the Ming Great Wall. So can we still find Wei Great Wall, Qin Changcheng and Sui Great Wall? Yulin Qin Changcheng was not built by Qin Shihuang, but before he unified the six countries. It was called Qin Changcheng in the Warring States Period, and Qin Changcheng in the Warring States Period was built on a small part of the Great Wall of Wei. The Sui Great Wall followed Qin Changcheng in the Warring States in quite a few paragraphs, and the latest Ming Great Wall used the foundation of the Sui Great Wall in most paragraphs. These four Great Walls were all built for the purpose of war defense at that time, and their general trend was the same. In history, four Great Walls once passed through Yulin. One of the most famous is Qin Changcheng. According to historical records, at least in the Qin Dynasty, Yulin was a border military town, called Shang Jun, with good treatment. In fact, Yulin still retains this title, which is the name of a street. Most of the Great Wall in Qin Dynasty has been buried in the yellow sand with General Meng Tian and his 300,000 troops. Even the Great Wall of the Ming Dynasty is in pieces. According to historical records, the Ming Great Wall in Yulin is more than 700 kilometers long. However, it is puzzling that 40 thousand soldiers were built in only three months. How did the soldiers of the Ming Dynasty build the Great Wall? According to historical records, about 50,000 people were stationed on the Great Wall around Zhenbeitai in the Ming Dynasty. The Great Wall in Yulin must be more than 700 kilometers, so where do they all live? It turns out that there are 36 castles in Yulin facing the Great Wall. These 36 castles were the places where troops were stationed in those years. So, can we find them now? This old road from Yulin to Shenmu County was basically built along the direction of the Great Wall in the Ming Dynasty. Along the way, we can see many beacon towers and castles on the mountain. After more than an hour of turbulence, we finally saw a large-scale and well-preserved ancient castle-Jian 'an Castle. Many castles in Yulin, like the Great Wall, are built on the mountain, often at the top of the mountain, which is easy to defend but difficult to attack. Earth fences and three gates surround Jian 'an Fort at the top of the mountain. Jian 'an Fort was built in Chenghua ten years in Ming Dynasty. It is said that there used to be heavy guards here, and the surrounding walls and gates were also built quite firmly. Jian 'anbao is185m long from east to west and 45 1 m wide from north to south. The bell tower in the center of the castle was earlier than Jian 'an Fort 100 years ago, indicating that Jian 'an Fort was built under the bell tower at that time. Now there are 30 households in Jian 'anbao. Are they descendants of the garrison generals? The 36 fortresses along the Great Wall used to be important military sites, and most of their names meant peace and harmony, such as Baoning Fort, Huaiyuan Fort and Jian 'an Fort. A military facility can have such a name, expressing people's hope for peace and tranquility at that time. The Great Wall and the Thirty-six Fort built here by the Ming Dynasty played the role of defense and showing off force. Zhenbeitai was built later than the 700-mile Great Wall and was built at the same time as Yulin in Chenghua period of Ming Dynasty. So was Zhenbeitai built to protect Yulin City? Standing on the platform of Beiping in the town, you can see the scenery dozens of miles away from Fiona Fang. No wonder it is the largest military observation post here, but there is a friendly exchange place between Mongolian and Chinese officials at its feet. This small town located in the northeast corner of Zhenbeitai is called Kuanmiya. Why is it called Hiromiya? It was mainly built for offering sacrifices, giving gifts and negotiating border affairs to Mongolian and China officials. This Gongcheng and Zhenbeitai were built at the same time, which shows that there was a peaceful atmosphere in the border area at that time. 800 meters southwest of Zhenbeitai, there is also the site of Yimacheng in Ming Dynasty. According to the records of Yulin Prefecture, Yima City was one of the eleven Mongolian-Chinese folk trade places in that year, and it was also a historical witness of the harmonious coexistence of Mongolian and Han nationalities. At the same time of material exchange, cultural exchange is also going on. Hongshixia was originally a famous temple in the Song Dynasty, and later became a place frequented by Mongolian and Chinese scholars. Many famous sayings and sentences of Mongolia-China friendship are engraved on the mountain, and many precious celebrity handwriting are preserved. We have reason to say that Zhenbeitai is not only a defensive building, but also a conspicuous decorative building and a symbol of peace. We have to say that this is the progress of an era. The top floor of Zhenbeitai is the place where the highest general of the garrison watched, and to the south is Yulin City, where the military center was located. According to historical records, in the middle of Ming Dynasty, Yulin was just a small military fortress. At that time, the military command center was in Suide and heavily stationed. As soon as there was a war in Yulin, they sent fast horses to Suide to inform him. However, Suide is more than 200 miles away from Yulin. When reinforcements arrived in Yulin, Mongolian cavalry had already taken advantage of the chaos and looting. Therefore, the command center moved to Yulin during Chenghua period in Ming Dynasty, and this fortress acropolis became one of the nine important towns in northern Xinjiang in Ming Dynasty. With the establishment of Yulin's military status, soldiers from all over the world moved to Yulin, and the population grew rapidly. Yulin has experienced three expansions. Yulin people used to call the city wall the old city, but now it only accounts for half of the whole Yulin city, and an important commercial center has formed a scale in the west of the old city. Walking on the streets of Yulin Old Town, we feel a little puzzled. Where a person is used to living in caves, how can there be so many exquisite quadrangles? Their layout and style are very similar to those of quadrangles in Beijing. What happened? It is often similar to Beijing, so people call Yulin "Little Beijing". Lu Ershi Lane is a native of Shaanxi. Because there was a civil servant and a military attache in my ancestors, this street is called Lu Ershi Lane. Walking in the streets of Yulin, a northern city near the desert, we actually heard a kind of music with Jiangnan flavor. Locals call it Yulin ditty. In 2005, Yulin Xiaoqu was included in the first batch of national intangible cultural heritage list by the state. Yulin ditty is a kind of folk art without makeup and performance, and its singing is melodious. It is said that Tan Jicong, a native of Jiaxing, Zhejiang Province, brought his hometown's silk and bamboo music here during his tenure in Yulin during the Kangxi period of the Qing Dynasty, and was loved by the southern officials and people. During the festival, the whole Yulin is full of music in the middle of the night. Generals from Beijing and Tianjin left quadrangles in Yulin, officials from the south of the Yangtze River brought Yulin ditty, and Chinese medicine shops all over Yulin streets came from all over the country. Why is this? It turns out that since Yulin was designated as Jiubian Town in the Ming Dynasty, the Ming Dynasty sent letters to medical personnel all over the country to provide military support. In this case, Yulin suddenly gathered many Chinese medicine doctors from all over the country. These doctors not only cured the soldiers, but also treated the local people. Today, Yulin people still believe in Chinese medicine. Zhang Zheng is a family of traditional Chinese medicine, and his ancestors were not from Yulin. His father is a famous doctor in Yulin. He once treated Wang Zhen. It is said that his father's medicine cured Wang Zhen's chronic disease. In a sense, Yulin should be an immigrant city. It has been influenced by the north and south cultures, and it has also maintained some local traditional habits. For example, Yulin people love tofu, which is very famous in the northwest. Tofu made from local high-quality soybeans and natural spring water is the pride of Yulin people. It is said that the two emperors once wrote poems praising Yulin tofu. Yulin not only has a variety of special snacks, but also has a long history, leaving a group of precious wealth-Yulin dialect. Yulin dialect belongs to Jin dialect, which is the only dialect area in the north that is independent of Mandarin area. It records the sounds from ancient times and provides valuable living materials for a series of studies related to dialects. Today's Zhenbeitai has already become a tourist attraction, "how many things have ups and downs through the ages." The undulating Great Wall in the distance is being eroded by years. There is no A?vagho?a here, and the tall beacon tower stands there alone. The wolf smoke has already dispersed, and it has been replaced by piles of coal-fired towers symbolizing the peace and auspiciousness of the festival. There are coal, oil and natural gas resources buried underground in Yulin. Now Yulin's natural gas has reached many big cities such as Beijing, Shanghai and Xi 'an, which has played a great role in the construction of the motherland, and the development of energy has also brought greater benefits to the local people. Standing on the north platform of the town, you can see the trains running on the railway and the cars on the expressway in the distance carrying the underground treasures here. This once frontier town has now become a world-famous energy base in China, known as "Kuwait of China".
