The earliest human in Fushun

Fushun has a long history. According to the cultural relics unearthed underground, there were human activities here as early as six or seven thousand years ago. Ancient northeast nationalities can be roughly divided into four branches: Sushen, Fuyu, Donghu and Han.

Sushen nationality is the earliest recorded nationality in northeast history. I lived in Changbai Mountain, Songhua River and Heilongjiang River Basin in my early days. It was called Lou in Han Dynasty, Buji in Northern and Southern Dynasties, Mohe in Sui Dynasty, Nuzhen in Liao and Jin Dynasties, and Manzhou in Qing Dynasty. Its descendants successively established Bohai State, Jin State and Qing Dynasty.

The division of Fuyu clan in Jilin and Liaodong is extremely complicated. Fuyu is related to meeting strangers, who are the compound names of people. Later, Fuyu Goguryeo was his descendant and once built Goguryeo State.

Donghu people later became Wuhuan, Xianbei and Qidan. Wu Huan and Xianbei later merged with Han. The Khitan once built Liao country, and the Donghu people flourished in the Warring States period, with their activity centers in Chaoyang and Chifeng today.

The Han nationality living in Northeast China was "transplanted from Chinese mainland" (General History of Northeast China, page 19).
