Maitreya Buddha is the future Buddha, how many years in the future? So how can we take refuge in Maitreya Buddha now, and if we can go to Tusita Tiantuo Palace a hundred years later in this life?

Maitreya Bodhisattva is currently giving lectures in the inner courtyard of Tusita. He will appear in our world in 5.6 billion years and become a Buddha. If you practice Maitreya in this world, you can be reborn in Tusita after your fate. Study with Maitreya Bodhisattva. But Maitreya Bodhisattva lives in Tusita Heaven, and the conditions for immigrating there are very high, and you have to practice the ten good deeds before you can go.

You can read the "Ten Good Karma Sutras" first, but just studying that alone is not enough, because you don't have the root yet and you can't understand it. The first root is the "Disciple Rules". It cannot be done in the "Disciple Rules" and there is no division in the "Ten Good Karma Paths", so we still have to start from the "Disciple Rules". The order of study is: "Disciple Rules" in the first grade, "Induction Chapter" in the second grade, and "Ten Good Karma Paths" in the third grade. If you work tirelessly, practice step by step, and yearn for the Pure Land of Maitreya, you will be considered a refuge in Maitreya Bodhisattva. The eminent monk Xuyun in modern times chose to be reborn in the Pure Land of Maitreya.
