2. Foreigners who register for marriage shall produce the following documents and supporting materials:
(1) My valid passport or other valid international travel documents.
(2) A certificate issued by the notary office or competent authority of the host country, certified by the embassies and consulates of People's Republic of China (PRC) and China in that country or certified by embassies and consulates in China in that country, or a certificate issued by embassies and consulates in China in the host country, valid for six months. And submit three 2-inch photos of both sides' recent half-length bareheaded photos. If the certification material is in a foreign language, it shall be translated into Chinese by a translation agency designated by the registration authority in accordance with the provisions of the Ministry of Civil Affairs.
Special attention: the certificate of no spouse must be marked with the words "unmarried", "divorced" and "widowed" indicating that the parties have no spouse, and other certificates cannot be used as the certificate of no spouse.
