What reservoir is in the upper reaches of Tanghe River?

The upper reaches of the Tanghe River are the Western Ocean Reservoir.

Tanghe River is called Hutuo River, Yiyi River, Suishui River and Tangshui River. It is named after the increase of water flow after flowing through Tangxian County. The source or tributary of Daqing River in Haihe River Basin. The Tanghe River originated from Cuiping Mountain in the south of Hunyuan, Shanxi Province, and was called the positive source of Daqing River in history.

The river course of the following reach has experienced several natural and artificial changes in history, and 1966 has artificially opened up a new river course. The water of Tongtian River, Sanhui River, Tanghe River and its tributaries in Tangxian County is collected in Xidayang Reservoir.

After leaving the Xidayang Reservoir, it flows eastward through Dingzhou City, Wangdu County, Jingyuan County and Anxin County, and flows into Baiyangdian Lake, a famous inland lake in Anxin. It has a total length of 273 kilometers and a drainage area of 4,990 square kilometers, of which the control area of Xidayang Reservoir is 4,420 square kilometers.

There are 43 tributaries in Dongshuigou, 7.5km northeast of Gunfengling, Cuiping Mountain, Hunyuan. Enter Lingqiu County from Wangzhuangbao of Hunyuan, cross Lingqiu Basin from east to west, turn southeast from Mentougou Valley, and enter Laiyuan County of Hebei Province through Beiquan Village of Hongshileng Township.
