My husband and I are college classmates. I am currently studying in Peking University and expect to graduate next year. My husband got an offer to study abroad in the second half of last year. The most important thing here is customer information and proof of relationship. I spent a lot of energy preparing. Today, I mainly share the preparation process of customer information. Customer information is mainly a supplement to other visa materials, so the degree of freedom is relatively large. I always divide it into five parts, namely, explanatory letter, spouse-related information, personal information, notarized materials and economic proof. What materials should be prepared according to your own situation, understand why you apply, what your materials are to prove, be logical, purposeful and meaningful, and each item serves your purpose. The function of these five parts of materials I put in is:

1. My husband and I will each write an explanatory letter of about 2-3 pages to explain clearly why we want to apply for an open work permit. The applicant's explanation credit is used to explain the purpose of the application and guide the visa officer to read the following materials. The spouse's explanation credit is used to express the intention of inviting the applicant to enter the country for reunion. Personally, I think it is very particular to write an explanatory letter. If anyone is interested, we can talk alone.

2. Spouse-related information is used to prove that the spouse is studying or about to enter school, has entered the country or is eligible to enter the country. This part of my husband's student visa, assistant researcher's offer and scholarship, school admission notice and CL letter show the authenticity of his admission.

Your personal information is used to explain the applicant's own background and prove his (future) working ability. Note that visa officers generally like young/highly educated/good English applicants, because a work visa is actually a prelude to immigration, so visa officers will consider whether this person has the ability to find a job in Canada. The materials I put in the personal information column include undergraduate diploma, degree certificate (and translation), proof of studying, IELTS test report (7 points) and CET-6 report card. In fact, I originally wanted to put it in Tencent's internship certificate, book publishing certificate and so on. But in the end, the material was compressed to less than 4M, and this part was deleted.

4. In the notarial materials, the scanned copy of the certificate of household registration and no criminal record, the notarial certificate and the translated copy are put, mainly to show the authenticity of the personal information provided. Pay attention to the notarization of marriage certificate. I put it in the relationship certificate, so I don't need to submit it here.

Fifth, finally, the financial certification materials, which explain what funds you can use and the legal sources of these funds. Some people may add some materials such as parents' real estate and parents' financial support to their financial certificates. In this case, birth certificate and notarization, parents' payroll/tax materials and other materials need to be supplemented. Prove that the property owner, that is, your parents, is indeed your parents and their income is legal. Because of laziness, I didn't put any information about my parents' financial situation, but only wrote my own and my husband's funds. Some intermediaries emphasize that the more money, the better. Actually, it's not. Holding a work permit should be to make money for work. So I don't think it will be too difficult to support this part with funds. It is more important to spend energy preparing materials to prove your ability to work than to prove your deposit.

In this part, I put the deposit certificate (about 5w) and the fund holding certificate (10w) in the name of the frozen individual. Originally, I wanted to put the certificate of holding the stock, but later I found it very troublesome to open the certificate, so I gave up. In order to explain the source of my deposit, I put the bank flow and the transfer record between my husband and me. In order to explain the source of her husband's funds, she also published his payroll and offer, RSU (restricted stock) award certificate, GIC deposit certificate, domestic bank deposit certificate, scholarships and so on.
