Will Wuyi Bawan Reservoir be demolished?

On August 3 1 day, Li Shumin, the first-class inspector of Fishery Administration Bureau of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, led a delegation of relevant technical experts from Fishery Administration Bureau and National Aquatic Technology Extension Station to Nanqiao District to conduct on-the-spot investigation on the fishery drought situation and countermeasures. Zhangyan, deputy head of the district government, and responsible comrades of relevant provincial, municipal and district units participated in the survey.

The research team went deep into 80,000 Reservoir, Vance Irrigation and Drainage Station, Fu Jia Aquaculture Co., Ltd., Haoziwei Project Area and other places in Wuyi Town, and inspected reservoirs, ponds and factory aquaculture facilities on the spot to understand the high temperature and drought, fishery production, self-help and disaster losses in our area since this summer.

At the symposium, the research team also listened to the report on the disaster and drought resistance of fisheries in our region, and actively took measures to overcome the special weather of high temperature and drought in our region, effectively coordinating the contradiction between grain production and fishery water use.

On the premise of ensuring national food security, the measures and effects of rapid early warning response, scientific water regulation, technical guidance, minimizing fishery production losses and safeguarding fishermen's interests are fully affirmed.

At the same time, it puts forward guiding opinions and requirements on how to take remedial measures in the next step, and strengthens technical guidance services according to local conditions and time to help affected farmers minimize losses.
