How do individuals purchase foreign exchange?

Domestic individuals who purchase foreign exchange through China Merchants Bank can handle it at counters, online banking and mobile banking within the limit. If you need to withdraw cash, please contact the handling outlets to verify whether there is cash withdrawal business in this currency before purchasing; If you need to handle overseas remittance, please know the relevant regulations of overseas remittance in advance.

Log in to mobile banking and select "Home → All → Cross-border Finance → Purchase of Foreign Exchange → Purchase of Foreign Exchange Entrustment".

Tips:

1. Only when the valid account opening certificate is an ID card (excluding temporary id card) can it be handled through mobile banking;

2. Domestic individuals have the amount of foreign exchange settlement and sale equivalent to 50,000 US dollars per person per year;

3. Please read the Application for Individual Purchase of Foreign Exchange carefully before purchasing foreign exchange, and fill in the information such as the use of funds according to the actual situation.
