What documents do Hong Kong people need to submit to apply for a work visa in the United States?

All holders of British (Overseas) Passport (BNO) and Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Passport (HKSAR) need visas to enter the United States for sightseeing/business.

Application requirements:

Hong Kong residents who must hold Hong Kong Special Administrative Region passports, British (Overseas) passports, Hong Kong certificates of identity and Hong Kong certificates of registration.

How to apply for a visa:

1, pay the [non-refundable] handling fee to 800 yuan. This fee must be paid in advance at Daxin Bank.

2. Fill in the application form DS- 156. This form can also be filled in and printed online and submitted to the consulate with you on the day of appointment. Please note: applicants who do not use spreadsheets to fill in information can only make appointments for interviews on Wednesday and Thursday. (All male applicants for non-immigrant visas, aged between 16-45, need to fill in an additional form of DS- 157 in addition to the application form of DS- 156).

3. Attach a photo of nearly six months on a white background, 2 inches (50 x 50 mm) square.

4. Submit the completed application form, bank receipt, passport valid for not less than six months and all valid visas in the United States at the appointed time.
