165438+1On 2 -3 October, the 20 13 China International Education Exhibition sponsored by China Education International Exchange Association was held on the first floor of Beijing National Convention Center. The following is an interview with Xiang Li, manager of studying abroad in Cai Bin.

Moderator: Hello everyone from Tencent! This is Tencent Studio of China International Education Exhibition in March, 2065438. We are very pleased to invite Xiang Li, the manager of studying in Canada in Cai Bin, to give us a report on studying in Canada. We know that studying in Canada has introduced a good policy to let more international students stay in Canada after graduation. We have seen the new SPP policy. Can you explain what benefits this policy will bring to international students?

A: This SPP policy has been promulgated for some time. Mainly for the study of Canadian junior college courses and undergraduate courses, the requirements for visa deposit are simplified. Nowadays, many families know that Canada is an immigrant country, and the requirements for deposit in visa processing are relatively high. Usually, a deposit requires a deposit history of 65,438+02 months. However, after the introduction of the SPP policy, applicants only need to pay the tuition fees of Canadian universities for the first year, and only need a deposit of 10000 Canadian dollars when actually applying for a visa, without any deposit history. This is the most advantageous place.

Compere: Does this mean that our international students can apply for jobs in Canada as long as they graduate?

A: In fact, the Canadian institutions mainly targeted in the SPP policy are also called community colleges, which mainly focus on technical education. Unlike universities, which focus on academic education, this community college is mainly employment-oriented and cultivates students' employability. In fact, for students studying in SPP colleges, they know more about local practical work in Canada, as well as employment information and skills, so such students are usually very easy to immigrate to the past.

Moderator: Some students think that the threshold for visa application in Canada is still relatively high. What do you think will lead to visa refusal? The most important points in the application process.

A: There are only two reasons for Canada's refusal. One is the lack of funds, and the other is the tendency to emigrate. Let me briefly introduce each point. In view of the lack of funds, when we apply for a visa, we need to provide some sufficient financial materials in addition to the most basic materials such as the deposit certificate and the corresponding deposit certificate and passbook. We try to show that parents have certain financial strength, or the guarantor has certain financial strength to provide funds for their children to go out. At this time, you need to provide proof of income and other family assets, such as cars and houses.

In addition, when we are making materials, we should write a special letter of explanation of funds to explain the accumulation of funds in this family. For example, many families can't save money for a long time. If the deposit period is short, is there any relevant material to prove where the money came from before deposit? If you have the corresponding supporting materials, it is very beneficial for the visa.

The main way to dispel the tendency of immigration is to see whether the OFFER applied by students can be connected with previous education or work background. On the other hand, write a detailed study plan. In the study plan, it is necessary to explain clearly why students choose Canada at this time and why they choose such a major. To explain this clearly, I think visas in Canada are not as difficult as many students and parents think. As long as the materials are well prepared, the pass rate is still very high.

Moderator: We know that dual admission in Canada is a way for students who are not particularly outstanding to apply for prestigious schools. What kind of students are suitable for double admission?

A: It doesn't mean that the conditions are not good. Many students who apply for double admission only go out through double admission because their language scores do not meet the admission standards at present, but their academic performance fully meets the requirements. As we all know in China, the high school curriculum in our school is under great pressure, and our high school students seldom have time and energy to attend IELTS (Weibo) or TOEFL training, so this method is generally adopted for students whose academic performance is not bad, but their language is not up to standard.

Compere: Is there a difference between students with double admission and students with direct admission in their study courses?

A: Strictly speaking, there is a difference. For most universities in Canada, double-admitted students have to study language courses first, and then they can enter professional courses after passing the layer-by-layer examination of language courses. Some colleges and universities can take some courses with credits in the process of learning languages. For example, students who enroll next year, this year's new policy, such as the University of British Columbia in Canada, allows students to take language courses in the first year, that is, to take 24 credits for university professional courses. In other words, it shortens the time to read the language.

Moderator: Thank you very much for accepting our interview. Thank you.
