The natural conditions of Tingzu

Tingzu Town is located in the southeast of Echeng District, Ezhou City, with Huangshi City in the east, Tieshan in the south, Bishidu Town in the west, Mahua Lake in the north, and Huahu Town and Huahu Development Zone across the lake. It is located at11453' e-11501'n-3018', with a land area of about 78.0 square kilometers.

Tingzu Town is a hilly area with high terrain in the southwest and low terrain in the northeast. The territory is rich in landscape resources and belongs to subtropical monsoon climate, with four distinct seasons, abundant rainfall and long frost-free period. The annual average precipitation is about 1276mm, the annual average temperature is 17℃, the frost-free period is 273 days, and the annual average sunshine hours are 1897 hours. Shiqiao Reservoir is the only medium-sized reservoir in Ezhou, with a storage area of 12.3 1 square kilometer and a total storage capacity of1608 million cubic meters. Sifeng Mountain, located in the southwest of the town, covers an area of 370 hectares and the highest peak is 486 meters above sea level, which is the highest peak in Ezhou. Light, heat, water and other conditions have extensive advantages and are suitable for planting. Tingzu Town is rich in mineral resources and is one of the main mineral towns in Ezhou City. The proven minerals include iron, copper, gold, silver, coal, sand shale, granite, marble and celestite. Among them, iron ore reserves are 48.6 million tons, copper metal reserves are 6.5438+0.892 million tons, associated gold and * * * gold are 654.38+0.287 tons, silver is 48.99 tons, and sand shale is about 20 million tons. The existing highway from Bi (Shi) to Huang (Shi) passes through the town, which is one of the "five golden flowers" along the expressway in Ezhou.
