What do you think of NASA's Mars migration plan?

Sometimes I think, if humans have successfully migrated to Mars, and then one day traces of abandoned human advanced civilization are found under the surface, some of which are technologies that we humans urgently want to realize now, even technologies that we humans have never seen before. In the end, it was found that because of the lack of natural resources and harsh environment on Mars, it was not suitable for long-term living. Humans went to other planets, but the result was the same. There are many traces of human civilization hidden under the surface. Later, mankind finally woke up and realized the truth. It turns out that our ancestors developed wildly on a blue planet like the earth, and the rapid progress of science and technology inevitably led to excessive damage to the environment. Finally, human beings realize that the development and progress of human society is wrong, and human beings should live in harmony with nature like other sentient beings. The speed of scientific and technological development and progress represents the degree of environmental damage, and development is bound to struggle with nature. Realizing this, mankind began to destroy all civilizations, and then launched the newborn human beings to another beautiful blue planet. However, due to people's ideological nature, it is inevitable to confront nature again, embark on the old road again, and finally fall into cycles again and again, and we are the last cycle and the beginning of the next cycle. So, the question is, is human progress right or wrong? Will progress make us live happier? Can't we live without mobile phones and computers? The progress of mankind is accompanied by too many costs. Look at what's happening around us. Viruses, antibiotics, missiles, nuclear weapons, air quality deterioration, tree destruction, desert growth and fresh water depletion are too many consequences. Just because of human selfishness and arrogance, human beings will surely reap the consequences.
