Historical evolution of Qiaojia County
In the sixth year of Jianyuan of the Western Han Dynasty (135 BC), Tanglang County was established, which belonged to Qianwei County; Emperor Wu established Sanjiang County, which belonged to Yueqi County.
Tanglang County was established in the Eastern Han Dynasty, and it belonged to Qianwei, the capital of the country.
The Shu Han Dynasty in the Three Kingdoms was Tanglang County, which belonged to Zhuti County in Yizhou.
From the Western Jin Dynasty to the Southern Dynasty, Liang was the territory of Tanglang County, Ningzhou.
The Northern Zhou Dynasty belonged to Nanning Prefecture.
During the Kaihuang period of the Sui Dynasty, it belonged to the Nanning Prefecture General Administration; during the Daye period, it was Dongcuandi.

In the fifteenth year of the Yuan Dynasty (1278), the Dongchuan Military and Civilian Mansion was built. In the twenty-eighth year (1291), it was promoted to Dongchuan Road. In the eleventh year of the Yuan Dynasty (1274), Dengzhou, Chuanzhou, Zhaozhou and Yaozhou were established. In the 21st year of the Yuan Dynasty (1284), the Wusawumeng Military and Civilian Xuanfu Division was established. In the 24th year of the Yuan Dynasty (1287), the Usawumeng Xuanwei Division was established to manage the military and ten thousand households, and Dongchuan Road belonged to it. In the fourth year of Dade (1300), Zidu County and Wusa County were established, which later became the province. In the Ming Dynasty, it was under the jurisdiction of Dongchuan Prefecture. In the fifteenth year of Hongwu (1382), Dongchuan Road was renamed Dongchuan Prefecture, which belonged to the Chief Secretary of Yunnan. In the seventeenth year of Hongwu (1384), Dongchuan Military and Civilian Prefecture was renamed, and it was changed to the Chief Secretary of Sichuan. It was abolished in the twenty-first year of Hongwu (1388). In the 26th year of Hongwu (1393), the Dongchuan Military and Civilian Mansion was restored, and he moved from Ma'anshan in the southwest of the Mansion to govern the south of Wan'e Mountain. In the early Qing Dynasty, following the Ming system, it was the Dongchuan Military and Civilian Office and belonged to Sichuan Province. In April of the fourth year of Yongzheng's reign (1726), the Dongchuan Military and Civilian Mansion under Sichuan Province was transferred to Yunnan Province and renamed Dongchuan Mansion. In July of the fifth year of Yongzheng's reign (1727), Huize County was established in the Qiaojia flood area and belonged to Dongchuan Prefecture. In April of the seventh year of Yongzheng's reign (1729), he moved to Huize County and settled in Fucheng. In July of the eighth year of Yongzheng's reign (1730), Dongchuan Prefecture belonged to Yidong Road (which governed Qujing Prefecture). In March of the 16th year of Jiaqing (1811), Tongzhi of Qiaojia Fuyi Prefecture (later renamed Qiaojia Hall) was established at the former site of Huize County, which belonged to Dongchuan Prefecture. In the second year of the Republic of China (1913), Qiaojia Hall was changed to Qiaojia County, which belonged to the Central Yunnan Road. In the 18th year of the Republic of China (1929), the state was directly under the jurisdiction of the province. In the 31st year of the Republic of China (1942), it belonged to the First Administrative Supervision District (stationed in Zhaotong County). In 1950, Qiaojia County belonged to Zhaotong Prefecture. In 1970, Zhaotong Prefecture was changed to Zhaotong Prefecture, and Qiaojia County belonged to Zhaotong Prefecture. In August 2001, Zhaotong was evacuated and established as a city, and Qiaojia County belonged to Zhaotong City. In 1997, Qiaojia County governed 1 town and 18 townships: Xinhua Town, Hongshan Township, Dongping Township, Maozhu Township, Dazhai Township, Xiaohe Township, Liuhe Township, Xindian Township, Qiaojiaying Township, Buckwheatland Township, Baogunao Township, Laodian Township, Qianchang Township, Zhongzhai Township, Chongxi Township, Jintang Township, Mashu Township, Lufang Township, and Menggu Township. The county government is located in Xinhua Town. In 2001, Qiaojia County governed 1 town and 18 townships: Xinhua Town, Dazhai Township, Xiaohe Township, Mashu Township, Maozhu Township, Dongping Township, Hongshan Township, Liuhe Township, Xindian Township, Qiaojiaying Township, Buckwheatland Township, Baogunao Township, Qianchang Township, Laodian Township, Zhongzhai Township, Chongxi Township, Jintang Township, Lufang Township, Menggu Township. In 2002, Xiaohe Township and Qumaidi Township were removed from their villages and established as towns (approved by the provincial government on August 20, 2002); Mashu Township and Dazhai Township were removed from their villages and established as towns (approved by the provincial government on September 8, 2002).
At the end of 2002, Qiaojia County governed 19 towns and 180 village committees. In 2003, Qumaidi Town was renamed Yaoshan Town (approved by the provincial government on March 20, 2003). In 2006, Qiaojiaying Township and Xinhua Town were abolished and Baihetan Town was established. The newly established Baihetan Town governed the administrative areas of the original Qiaojiaying Township and Xinhua Town, and the town government was located in the original Xinhua Town Government; the aluminum factory was cancelled. Township and Laodian Township, Laodian Town was established, and Laodian Town was newly established.
