Canada’s latest study and immigration policy

If your purpose is to eventually obtain Canadian immigration status through studying abroad, it is recommended that you apply for courses at public institutions and go through the SPP program, which eliminates the need to explain the source of funds and facilitates obtaining a visa.

If you have graduated with an undergraduate degree, you can consider applying for a postgraduate diploma from a public college for visa purposes, and then consider whether to switch to a junior college or bachelor's degree program when you get there.

Complete at least a 2-year college (or above) course. After graduation, you can obtain a 3-year work visa. After working for one year, you can obtain immigration status through the experience category.

After graduating from a one-year course, you can only apply for a one-year work visa. You need to work legally for two years before you can apply for experience-based immigration
