Where does Zengxi Reservoir belong?

Zengxi tourist area is located in the northeast of Xiamen, with mild climate, good vegetation conditions, quiet environment and rich tourism resources throughout the year. The reservoir drips at the foot of Damao Mountain, and the villages, fields and green hills next to the reservoir form a beautiful landscape painting. This reservoir is named after Zeng Xixi. 1969 expansion, with a total storage capacity of 765,438+10,000 cubic meters and a water area of more than 2,000 mu. There are fruits, vegetables and grain planting bases around the reservoir area. A friend introduced us to a place we saw that specializes in raising bullfrogs. In addition, there are hexagonal wells, perfume rocks, sinks, beautiful flowers, the enthusiasm of strong men and other landscapes. The scenery and pastoral flavor are refreshing. It is the largest of several reservoirs in Xinxu Town, and it is also a special protected water area for drinking water surface sources in Xiamen.

Zengxi Reservoir is planned to build a tourist area integrating ecological agriculture and sports and leisure. Relying on the eco-agricultural environment, we will carry out tourism projects with eco-agriculture and sports and leisure as the main body, and coordinate with Xiamen coastal urban cultural tourism to meet the eco-tourism needs of urban residents.

It is planned to introduce hiking, cycling and shore fishing around the reservoir in the sports and leisure tourist area. It is a new field of tourism development worth looking forward to in Xinxu.
