Junshan, formerly known as Dongting Mountain, Xiangshan Mountain and Garden Mountain, is located in Yueyang City. It is an island in the 800-mile Dongting Lake, far from the historic Yueyang Tower, with a total area of 0.96 square kilometers. It consists of 72 peaks and is listed as the 11th most blessed place in the world by Taoist books. Now it is a national key scenic spot and a national 5A-level tourist area.
Junshan is a small and exquisite mountain surrounded by water, with beautiful scenery and fresh air. It is a summer resort with mountains and peaks, lush bamboo and picturesque scenery. The terrain is high in the southwest and low in the northeast, with an average elevation of 55m, and the highest point in Xiangshan is 63.3m above sea level.
