Where is Zhuangshang Village?

Zhuangshang Village, Gedong Town, fangshan county is located in the south of the county 10 km, on the east side of National Highway 209, next to Hengquan Reservoir. There are 279 households with 926 people in the village, with more than 800 mu of cultivated land, 29 people in party member and 38 people in 32 low-income households. In 2008, with the strong support of the town party committee and government, Zhuangshang Village implemented the relocation project of reservoir immigrants in combination with the actual situation of the village, and made unified planning, design and construction of immigrant households' houses. In recent years, Zhuangshang Village has further accelerated the pace of new rural construction by implementing the "Five One Projects". The village Committee office building, cultural and scientific activity room, health room, convenience store and red and white director's office have been built. Hardened basketball court, fitness venue 1.400 square meters, and equipped with corresponding fitness equipment, leisure pavilion, stone table and stool. In recent years, rural doctors with technical secondary school education have been equipped, and they have been certified after training. At the same time, Zhuangshang Village, with comprehensive improvement and efforts to improve the living environment as a breakthrough, has extensively carried out environmental improvement and infrastructure construction projects with "four modernizations" as the main content, and completed the construction of new countryside, thus changing the production and lifestyle of farmers. At present, the greening, beautification and lighting project focusing on the main roads in Zhuangshang Village has been completed. Village roads are all hardened, and every household has installed water supply and drainage. Every household has completed the task of improving water, toilet, kitchen and enclosure, installed 83 solar street lamps, 200 energy-saving biomass stoves, built a new stage, painted the entrance to the village and built five garbage pools. The garbage in the village has been treated in a unified way. It solves the problems that people have difficulty in drinking water, traveling, seeking medical treatment, shopping and entertainment.

Zhuangshang Village actively plans and implements the construction of new countryside according to local conditions, forming a construction pattern with ecological construction as the mainstay. In recent years, Zhuangshang Village has repeatedly sent farmers with high cultural level to go out for training to learn crop planting, management and pest control techniques. More than 30 acres of grape sightseeing picking garden and 400 acres of walnuts have been developed around the village. At present, we are preparing to make use of the geographical advantages of Hengquan Reservoir, vigorously adjust the industrial structure, develop greenhouse vegetable base, develop 100 mu agricultural sightseeing picking garden, and build hotels and playgrounds, so that Zhuangshang Village can form an eco-tourism demonstration park integrating sightseeing, picking, leisure, entertainment and vacation. The implementation of these projects will prosper the collective economy and accelerate the pace of new rural construction.

On August 26th, 2020, patriotic health campaign committee, Shanxi Province named Zhuangshang Village as Health Village of Shanxi Province from 2020 to 2022.

There are tourist attractions such as North Wudang Mountain, Zuoguocheng, Yu Chenglong Tomb, Nanyang Gou Forest Park and Pangquangou near Zhuangshang Village. There are some specialties, such as Shanxi elbow, Shanxi hot pot, Fangshan potato, Fangshan musk and Fangshan almond.
