What materials do I need to apply for a study visa in the UK?

Because it is the peak period of studying in Britain recently, some students are afraid that their visa applications will not catch up with the start of school. In fact, as long as they understand the process, they can complete the visa quickly and smoothly. Let's take a look at the application process for studying in the UK.

I. Application process after visa submission

1. When the visa center submits the application, all the application documents will be uploaded to UKVI UK visa immigration system by scanning, except that the original passport is left in the visa center;

2.UKVI UK Visa Immigration Office receives all uploaded documents and begins to review them (Tier4 and short-term visit/study visas may be reviewed at different locations);

3. After the review, UKVI UK Visa and Immigration Bureau made a decision. From now on, teachers will call their pay phone or write a pay email according to the contact information on the contact UKVI, and the result will be a decision; .

4. The Beijing Visa Office began to make visa pages, and after the batch production is completed, they will be delivered to visa centers in batches according to the original application place;

5. The visa center received the visa sticker package sent by the Beijing Visa Office, and began to unpack it and put it on all applicants' passports;

6. After the visa center completes the labeling, notify the applicant to collect the passport or send it by EMS.

7. This is the whole process from visa submission to visa issuance. There are a few points to remind.

① The visa for studying in the UK needs to be signed by the students themselves and cannot be handled by others;

The original passport was left at the visa center and not sent abroad;

(3) The decision made after the audit refers to that the visa decision has been made, not that the visa page and passport have been prepared;

④ When submitting a visa application, there are three options: ordinary processing (15 work sunrise result, the cost is about 3202 yuan), ordinary expedited processing (5 work sunrise result, the cost is about 5226 yuan), and 24-hour expedited processing (the result is obtained within 24 hours, the cost is about1kloc-0/997 yuan). You can choose according to your own situation.

Second, the visa application materials

(2) Personal passport (valid for more than 6 months)

(3) The original IELTS test report (the IELTS test report must be consistent with the IELTS score shown in CAS).

Step 2 translate documents

Please pay special attention to:

(1) All Chinese should be translated into English, including stamps. The format of the translated version is as consistent as possible with the original format.

(2) Translation of transcripts and diplomas.

Generally speaking, the report card is issued directly by the school. If there is no English version, I can translate it and stamp the red seal of the school later. The report card is stamped with the red seal of the school, indicating that it is an official document issued by the school (whether you translated it yourself or not) and does not need to be translated separately. Including degree certificate and diploma, if your translation is stamped with the red seal of the school, you don't need to translate it separately. But if there is no school seal, you need to translate it separately.

Step 3 copy

The British Visa Center is only responsible for checking whether the materials submitted by the applicant are sufficient and whether there are enough English translations, and is not responsible for judging whether the visa is passed. After signing, some materials will not be returned. Therefore, any original materials (such as deposit certificate, household registration book, birth certificate, original IELTS, degree certificate, diploma, etc.). ) must be accompanied by a copy. When the embassy issues the visa, it will return the original materials to you and keep a copy for your record. The translation does not need to be copied.

4. Proof of funds

(1) Funds must be in the form of deposits, and one of three items can be provided: bank deposit slip, passbook or original bank statement with official seal.

(2) Certificate of deposit (both time deposit and current deposit are acceptable, but the deposit must be recorded for at least 28 days, that is, if the visa is issued on July 1 day, the money must be deposited in the bank before June 3, so that the time of opening an account when the certificate of deposit is issued differs from the freezing time by more than 28 days). The amount deposited should cover the tuition and living expenses of the students for one year (the specific amount is subject to CAS).

(3) Deposits must be issued with certificates of deposit, and the freezing period is suggested to be 2-3 months (fixed deposit is strongly recommended because some banks cannot issue certificates of deposit for current deposits; It is recommended to deposit 250,000-300,000.

(4) The certificate of deposit must be signed within one month after issuance. If the deposit period is less than 28 days, the visa will be refused or cannot be submitted;

(5) If the deposit certificate is not submitted for more than one month, a new deposit certificate must be issued.
