The steep peaks and valleys on both sides of the river are cut with knives and axes, and the steps are layered from the peak to the bottom. From the appearance, the high slope formed on the steep wall above and below the dam axis is exposed, and the supporting project has obviously been completed.

Drive around the rigger platform on the right bank, lean over and look at the bottom of the valley, and truly feel the magic of modern technology. The two banks are opposite, and the first aerial ropeway machine has been set up. In June 2007, 165438+ 10, the river closure project will be realized here. Dam concrete pouring began on June 5, 2008 and ended on 10, 2008. In the future, the concrete hyperbolic arch dam will have a crest elevation of 6 10/0m, a crest length of 700m, and a maximum dam height of 278m, which will arch into a half-moon landscape here.

According to the construction progress, the reservoir was filled to 540 meters in June, 2065438+2003, and the first batch of units generated electricity. Nine years later, the Xiluodu project will be completed on 20 15.

When Xiluodu Power Station was completed, the normal water level of the reservoir was 600 meters, the dead water level was 540 meters, the flood limit water level was 560 meters, the total storage capacity was12.67 billion cubic meters, and the adjustable storage capacity was 6.46 billion cubic meters. Xiluodu project, which consists of concrete hyperbolic arch dam, underground powerhouse and flood discharge structure, will become the backbone power station for the development of the whole Jinsha River basin, greatly promoting the local economic development of Sichuan and Yunnan and benefiting the people of the two provinces.

After seeing the vertical walls and the majestic high slopes, Liu Xin led me to drill the "underground maze" by car.

Entering the cave along Jianshe Road, you will see another scene. The original hole excavation project is distributed in the mountain and excavated by layers. The difference between the lowest altitude and the highest altitude of on-site traffic is nearly 400 meters. Is there no interference between construction operations with different elevation differences? Diversion tunnel, diversion tunnel, power station tunnel, construction branch tunnel ... one tunnel after another is common in the eyes of builders. They are familiar with the road and have worked in such an environment for many years, so they can call the cave their home.

The excavation volume of the main project and diversion tunnel of Xiluodu Power Station with a static investment of 50 billion yuan is about 398 1 10,000 cubic meters, including 256 1 10,000 cubic meters for open excavation, 0/4200 cubic meters for tunnel excavation and 0/0.310.5 million cubic meters for total concrete pouring.

Liu Xin said that the Xiluodu project has the characteristics of "high arch dam, large flow, multiple units and narrow river valley". Due to the narrow construction site, the total length of roads in the site is 86 kilometers, of which the tunnel length is 26 kilometers.

Can you imagine the tunnel is 50 miles long and what it will be like in the mountains? The driver Chen Xiao always runs in the cave, and sometimes he makes mistakes and goes the wrong way in the cave.

At the level of the power plant lobby, I feel that the most difficult task is it. The excavation width is 28.4m, the length is 38 1 m and the height is 75. 1 m.. The working face is divided into four layers: upper, lower, left and right. After the upper layer is dug, the lower layer can only be dug after the vault supports it; When you finish digging here, do your homework on the other side. Nine hydro-generator sets will be installed in power plants hidden in the mountains on the left and right banks, each with a capacity of 700,000 kilowatts. That is to say, in my place, not only a spacious hall should be dug, but also two working platforms should be excavated vertically, namely the starting motor layer and the steam turbine layer. Moreover, it takes nine units to dig a straight hole, which is quite serious.

In the field of hydropower construction in China, similar tunnel excavation engineering is a mature technology at present. The underground power station construction of the Three Gorges Project belongs to this category, except that there are only four units of the same type in the Three Gorges Project, and there are nine units on the left and right banks here, and the construction scale is much larger. At the excavation site of Xiluodu right bank power station, I lamented not only the scale and technical difficulty of the building, but also the pursuit of ideals and loyalty to the cause of hydropower people from the scale and technology. Seeing the builders eating and drinking in dark and damp caves day after day and year after year, there is no regret. How can you be indifferent?

With wisdom and sweat, builders embedded the blueprints drawn by designers in ravines and invisible mountain tunnels to write the glory and pride in the history of hydropower construction in China in the new century!

In the early summer of 20 1 1, that is, five years later, when I led the members of the Fengfeng Group of the Federation of Literary and Art Circles to visit Xiluodu again, the sky here was still blue and the mountains here were still green, but the face of the canyon here changed greatly: the pouring cable car shuttled back and forth between the two sides, pulling the homesickness of the builders day and night and throwing it into the dam; The tower belt conveyor rotates smoothly, burying the builder's will for many years; The "yellow duck" that used to run like life, the drilling rig and bulldozer that kept digging, looked tired and sleepy, and there were few traces.

No matter from the observation deck on the right bank or the cable car platform on the left bank, a thin reinforced concrete dam suddenly rose from the bottom of the valley at the early dam site at the big bend of the canyon. Its two ends are embedded in the mountain, gracefully extending into a streamlined "bow", and the steel cables flying in the air on both sides are like "strings" tied to the bow!

On the afternoon of coming, I rushed into the underground maze, once again felt the grandeur of the underground power station project on the left and right banks, appreciated the grandeur of the18 700 MW giant unit, and realized the hardships and transcendental wisdom of the cavern creators and electromechanical installers.

At night, Sanpingying was silent. Han Yongjuan, an old colleague now working in Xiluodu Construction Department, warmly invited me: "Let's go and take you to the dam to see the night view."

First go down the mountain through the tunnel, and then dive to the bottom along the Panshan Highway. When the car stopped, we were already on the broad levee of the downstream cofferdam. As soon as the bus stopped, the group of people scrambled to get off, for fear that the night here would be stolen by others.

At that time, the busy construction site was silent. Up and down the canyon, the lights are scarce and the surroundings are hazy.

Looking up, under the dark sky, the deep silhouette of the canyon comes into view, the hatchback is extremely steep and narrow, the huge arch dam at the bottom of the valley stands tall, and the energy dissipation building "Erdaoba" below is like a ridge decoration. This stage aesthetic setting is deja vu!

The intense excitement in my eyes makes me imagine that the dam is a standard curtain wall of a modern stage, with a landscape and a dam lining!

Whose whimsy is it to decorate the night scene of reinforced concrete dam into a canyon stage full of cultural flavor?

Looking up and looking around, I suddenly understood that it was light, the projection magic of searchlights and spotlights, which turned the Grand Canyon into a huge stage spectacle for hydropower station construction!

You see, there are a row of chandeliers hanging in parallel on the steel cables on both sides, and their flames are clustered. Isn't this the light in front of the stage? On both sides of the steep wall of the canyon, searchlights are placed. Isn't this a stage side light? On the earth-rock cofferdam below us, spotlights are also installed in a patchwork way. Isn't this the stage chase? To test this conjecture, I asked resident reporter Wang Liansheng to try to take a photo with the dam as the background. After I took a look, I immediately shouted happily: "Come and see-amazing stage, come and take a group photo!"
