Appreciation of Fengtian Palace in Xingang

Fengtian Palace in Xingang features four entrances and three courtyards, followed by Sanchuan Hall, Main Hall, Houdian Hall and Lingxiao Hall. Now the temple looks like the work of Wu Hai craftsmen when Dazheng was rebuilt in 6 years. Sanchuan Hall has three bays, flanked by two-wing cloisters, and seven bays. There are four overhangs on the roof of Sanchuan Hall, and there are wonderful clippings on the roof.

There are a pair of dragon pillars in front of Sanchuan Temple, which were carved by 400 yuan donated by the gentry Lin, Sumegi and others. Dragon Column is Meiji 44 (19 1 1) style. The dragon column is a single dragon plate column with four claws holding pearls, decorated with aquarium, figures, war horses and the Eight Immortals.

There are a pair of stone lions carved with green beans on both sides of the main entrance, which is the style of the Japanese occupation period. There are exquisite stone carvings in the stone windows on both sides, and there are allusions such as "fishing, firewood, ploughing, reading", "climbing mountains and mountains", "Wei Shui hired a virtuous man" and "Li Bai was drunk and wrote a fan table". The skirt wall is a Kirin stone carving rebuilt in Meiji 45 (19 12).

The dragon and tiger stone carvings in Sanchuan Temple are the allusions of "Empty City Plan" and "Hulao Pass" in The Romance of the Three Kingdoms. Because the stone carvings are exquisite, in order to protect the stone carvings from being destroyed, the temple is protected with acrylic.

The front of Sanchuan Hall is a special wooden structure decorated with a row of buildings and flying sculptures. There are abundant Bo Gu flower stone carvings on both sides of the wall, and a pair of dragon columns are carved on the attached wall columns, which are quite distinctive. There are peonies, phoenixes and hundreds of birds on the flower-and-bird column in Houbukou, which means "single phoenix rising in the morning" and "wealth and good fortune".

The main entrance is painted with a dragon totem, and the dragon pattern adopts the shape of one up and one down. There are eight immortals painted next to the dragon pattern. The door gods at the side door are father-in-law and maid-in-waiting. The father-in-law holds an official hat and a deer, symbolizing "increasing the crown and promoting wealth", and the maid-in-waiting holds peony and wine glasses, symbolizing "wealth". The door gods of Wings Gallery are the four heavenly kings.

On both sides of the inner city, there are gossip gates leading to the hatchback corridor, and the waterwheel on the gossip gate is blocked, as well as exquisite toenail pottery works. Because toenail pottery works are not easy to preserve, they are protected with glass to avoid damage. The toenail pottery of Fengtian Palace was rebuilt in the early years of the Republic of China, with Bo Gu flowers as the sculpture theme, and was made by Hong Kunfu and his apprentice Shi Lianchi.

There is a woodcarving work of "Han Fan carrying a big fir" on the wooden frame of Baiting Pavilion. One is barefoot, the other is wearing boots, and his hands are holding the bucket seat. It is a large-scale woodcarving work in Taiwan Province Province. There are a pair of dragon columns in front of the main hall, which are single dragon plate columns with four claws holding beads. There is no hollow carving, which is the style of the middle Qing Dynasty.

Fengtian Palace in Xingang is dedicated to Mazu statues such as Gongmu, Sijiezu, Ermu, Sanmu, Wumu and Mipumu. There is a statue of Mazu in front of the shrine, which is soft. 1in March, 977, when the temple made a pilgrimage to Meizhou, the mainland, it welcomed Mazu back to Taiwan. Due to the prosperity of incense in Fengtian Palace, the original powder Mazu became a "black-faced Mazu". The statues of clairvoyance and clairvoyant ears on both sides of the shrine are clay sculptures, and the two generals hold gold ingots, which are quite distinctive.

The back hall is dedicated to Guanyin Bodhisattva, while the dragon side is dedicated to Fude Shen Zheng and the tiger side is dedicated to Empress Zhu Sheng. Since the statue of Mazu in Fengtian Palace was once enshrined in Zhaoqing Temple, it was enshrined in Zhaoqing Temple when Mazu Tempel built the temple. The hatchback corridor is dedicated to Bengang Town God, Zhang Kai Wang Sheng, Guan Sheng Dijun, Wenchang Dijun, Prince of Western Qin, Tiger and Sage. Shagang Town God is a branch of Zhuluo County Town God. Every year, on the second day of the eighth lunar month, Chenghuang will tour all over the country.
