The Lord is the patron saint of Dongsheng fishermen. Every time fishermen go fishing, they should pray for the big prince. All fishing boats are dedicated to the big prince. The fifth day of the second lunar month is considered as the birthday of the great prince.

Daya Bay Festival is also listed as Huizhou intangible cultural heritage (municipal). The Grand Prince's Day is held every year on the fifth day of the second lunar month, with a history of more than 200 years. For people in Chaoshan area, this is a traditional and important festival. At the beginning of last century, Chaoshan people such as Dongsheng Village moved to Daya Bay, and this traditional festival was also brought to the local area.

1983, local fishermen raised funds to rebuild Dawangye Temple. The name of "Three Mountains King" is engraved on the temple gate, and the couplet of the temple gate reads "Three Mountains National Merit, Dedicated to King Wu Yue".

With the King's Temple, the fifth day of the second lunar month is fixed as the sacrificial day every year.
