When traveling to Canada, what should you pay attention to when applying for a Canadian tourist visa?

1. The "Registration Form for Application to Canada" must be filled out in detail at the same time.

2. Having the above information does not guarantee that tourists will obtain a Canadian visa. During the application process, tourists may be required to supplement relevant materials due to inaccurate, unclear, untrue or other reasons.

3. Tourists who have applied for a Canadian immigrant or non-immigrant visa must truthfully explain whether their application has been rejected.

4. Tourists who obtain a visa must pay a return deposit of 100,000 yuan. The deposit can be retrieved with the passport (with Chinese entry stamp) upon return.

5. If the visa is refused, a handling fee of RMB800 (including visa fee) will be charged or a handling fee of RMB1,200 (including visa fee, for multiple entry applications) will be charged.

6. If a parent is traveling with a child, please issue a notarized certificate of kinship. If one parent is bringing a child, please issue a declaration stating that one parent agrees to the other parent taking the child abroad.

7. The general visa application approval time is 5-8 working days. If you apply by mail, it is recommended to apply 2-3 months in advance.
