Sofia National University of Economics and World Economics is located in Sofia, Bulgaria. Founded in 1920, the school has a history of more than 80 years and is the largest and oldest economic institution of higher learning in Bulgaria. This school was originally called Free University of Political Economy. 1On April 27th, 990, the school was upgraded to a university by the resolution of the National Assembly, and changed its name to Sofia National University of Economics and World Economics.
