The development of history

In the 27th year of the Republic of China (1938), Hunan province was reorganized into 10 administrative supervision area;

In April of the 29th year of the Republic of China (1940), Hunan Province was reorganized into 10 administrative supervision district, with 6- 10 counties under each district, and Changsha City and Hengyang City were established.

Before the National Government retreated to Taiwan Province Province in 38 years of the Republic of China (1949), there were 2 cities in Hunan Province, 10 administrative supervision areas and 77 counties, and the Hunan provincial government was stationed in Changsha.

After the founding of People's Republic of China (PRC), 1949 set up Changsha prefecture-level city, 1956 set up Zhuzhou prefecture-level city, as well as seven directly under the jurisdiction of Changsha, Hengyang, Chenxian, Changde, Yiyang, Shaoyang and Yongzhou, Xiangxi administrative region and three areas under its jurisdiction, namely Yongshun, Yuanling and Huitong.

On June 9th, 20 18, the State Council officially approved the revocation of Zhuzhou County and the establishment of Lukou District of Zhuzhou City. The original administrative area of Zhuzhou County was Lukou District, and the seat of Lukou District People's Government was Tang Xue Road 1 Lukou Town.
