I want to go to America this summer and stay with my American friends for a month or two. How can I get my passport and visa? What information do you need to prepare? Do not study abroad

Go to the local public security organ to apply for a passport with the household registration book.

You should apply for a visa at the embassy or consulate in China and the United States (to the embassy or consulate in charge of your consular district).

Usually ask friends to send you invitations, and then explain in detail where you will live, where to play, how to solve the cost problem, and how to arrange the schedule. Then be sure to say something like "At the end of summer, you will return to China with good memories of the great United States and start your college studies again", indicating that you are going back to China.

If you apply, people will give you a visa to travel and visit relatives and friends.

Specific preparation of application materials:

Business and tourist visas

(B- 1, B-2 visa)

Visa B 1 is issued to applicants who go to the United States for short-term business activities, including signing contracts through negotiation, attending exhibitions or conferences, short-term training or negotiating business with suppliers or customers. 3. proof of funds: prove that you have the ability to pay all the expenses that you don't work during your stay in the United States, such as a payroll that objectively reflects your monthly income and a passbook with regular entry and exit records. 5. The following documents may be helpful to your application: household registration book or other documents that can prove true kinship, photos taken with American relatives in recent years, copies of American passports or green cards of relatives, copies of passports of relatives who have stayed in the United States for a short time, and copies of American visas.
