Play is in the folk, people move away from it, but Chu is not in Wu Qin.

As early as the Ming Dynasty, Shanxi Bangzi and Shaanxi Bangzi were introduced to Jiangsu from Shandong and Henan with a large number of immigrants, subsequent merchant management, official relocation, the rebellion and the fleeing victims.

Since the mid-Ming Dynasty, due to the budding development of capitalist relations of production, Shanxi and Shaanxi businessmen have spread all over the country. Wherever they go, the governments, prefectures, counties and towns have built Shanshan Guild Hall, where they set up a stage to perform, and they often invite Bangzi opera from their hometown to perform from afar as a means of business exchanges. There are Shanshan Guild Hall in Xuzhou and all counties. Because of the frequent performances of Bangzi Opera, there is an inherent saying that "three fat is the best place in Chu", because Xuzhou was once the capital of the King of Chu in Qin and Han Dynasties, and three fat was the Shaanxi Opera.

There is a biography in Xuzhou Fuzhi compiled during the Tongzhi period of Qing Dynasty: "Li Poet, a native of Fengxian County ... He lived in the official position at the end of Kangxi ... Gong was not very literate, but he respected him when he met literati, compiled Zhejiang chronicles, built academies, and was very rich. Gong Yu lies in the south. You can imagine the spread of Bangzi opera and frequent exchanges with local opera art at that time.

In "Preliminary Collection of Research Materials on China Opera", Ou Yangyuqian was angry at seeing operas during Emperor Qianlong's southern tour, so he sent Yi Ayi to Jining, Pengcheng (Xuzhou), Yangzhou and other places to collect operas, tried them out in Yangzhou, and made a clear introduction.

In the fifth year of Xianfeng in Qing Dynasty, Yin, a bangzi artist, stayed in Pei County to escape the flood. Later, at the invitation of Mark Duan, the owner of Miaodaokou village, he ran a troupe, which expanded year by year and mushroomed all over Pei County. During this period, well-known actors in Henan organized class performances or spread art, so Xuzhou Bangzi's singing style was both rich in Shandong Bangzi and delicate in Henan Bangzi.
