Huizhou City is located in the south-central part of Guangdong Province. It is a prefecture-level city under the jurisdiction of Guangdong Province. It is located at a low latitude, with the Tropic of Cancer passing through Huizhou City. It is backed by Luofu Mountain and faces Daya Bay in the south. The East River meanders for more than 100 kilometers within the territory, and it belongs to the east coast of the Pearl River Delta and the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. Huizhou is adjacent to Shenzhen and Hong Kong, Heyuan City to the north, Shanwei City to the east, and Dongguan City and Guangzhou City to the west.
