I have a CET-6 level in college English. I have basically never touched English in the five years since I started working. I wanted to immigrate on a whim, but I was busy preparing for the IELTS test while working and raising a baby, so I signed up to learn English.

It took me five tests to get 4 out of 6 in IELTS. Speaking was always a challenge, with a score of 5.5 in ten thousand years. Taking IELTS five times was too harmful, so I decided to switch to PTE.

I signed up in a hurry. Before starting the class, I only knew that there was such an exam, but I didn’t understand the question types at all! Due to severe procrastination and the fact that PTE review was too scattered, after struggling countless times to take IELTS or continue PTE, and because I was worried about the tutoring fees, several English teachers recommended me to choose PTE. The result was surprising. , I was only one point short of taking the exam for the first time, but I passed it the second time!

I will not compare IELTS and PTE closely. I will just talk about my own feelings. PTE exam review has more direction and the effort is visible. Unlike IELTS speaking and writing, there is no direction at all. Also look at the examiner’s mood!

Speaking of the improvement of my English level, I have to say that learning English in this way has been of great help to me. However, my level has reached the standard, so it is very important to really choose the exam.
