Personal deposit certificate is a credit certificate issued by customers for studying abroad, visiting relatives, traveling, immigrating and settling, doing business or other purposes. You can apply to your account opening bank to open one.

Issuance method: You can go to any online outlet with your valid ID and deposit receipt (folder). If you entrust another person to issue a deposit certificate on your behalf, the entrustee must present the valid identity documents of himself and the depositor.

Charging standard: A handling fee of RMB 20 is charged for each deposit certificate issued.

Validity period: Generally speaking, the validity period of a certificate of deposit is relatively flexible (not necessarily the usual 3 months). The customer sets the time limit. After the deposit certificate is issued, the bank will freeze the deposit. The freezing time is the same as the validity period of the deposit certificate.

Deposit type: fixed term only.

Other instructions: When a customer requests to lift the restriction on withdrawal within three months, the original deposit certificate must be returned before Bank of China can lift the restriction on withdrawal within three months after the issuance of the certificate.
