Is it necessary to apply for notarization at the place where the household registration is located?

Notarization does not stipulate that it must be done at the place where the party's account is located. If the provisions involve the notarization of real estate property rights, the parties need to apply to the notary office where the real estate is located.

The police station where your account is located, just issue a certificate. Take your household registration book, don't forget. If you want to study abroad or immigrate, you should go to the notary office with your hukou to apply for a birth certificate (notarial certificate is usually stamped and signed in Chinese and English). The birth certificate required by formal (official) overseas study or immigration institutions is a birth certificate, which contains the names of parents and the name, gender, date and place of birth. If you already have an only-child certificate, just translate it.

After the notarization application is accepted by the reception notary, the notary will check the contents of the property agreement, prove the property rights, and inquire whether the contracting of the parties has been deceived or misled. After the parties cooperate with the notary to complete the notarization conversation, they shall sign the record for confirmation.

If the notary office considers that it meets the requirements of notarization after examination, it shall issue a notarial certificate. The notarial certificate shall be made in the format prescribed or approved by the judicial department and shall take effect as of the date of signature.

As long as there is a neighborhood Committee and police station where the household registration is located to prove that you and your parents are related, it is more convenient to see where you go for notarization. No matter where it is handled, its fair effect is the same.
