Birth background

Born in Guangzhou, Guangdong Province, he moved to Hong Kong at the age of 2, and moved to Boston, USA at the age of1/kloc-0. Mother Bow Sim Mark is a world-famous martial artist and Tai Chi master, and founded the internationally renowned China Wushu Institute. Since Donnie Yen could walk, Bow Sim Mark began to teach him martial arts, which laid a good foundation for his traditional martial arts. My father, Zhen Yunlong, is the Boston editor of Sing Tao Daily, an international Chinese newspaper. He can play the violin and erhu, which is a China stringed instrument with similar timbre to the violin. Donnie Yen also studied classical piano and liked Chopin. Music became another source of inspiration in his life. Donnie Yen grew up in his mother's martial arts atmosphere and watched almost all the kung fu films he could see. At this time, I met his idol Bruce Lee, and gradually learned various styles of martial arts, including various fighting techniques. However, the rebellious Donnie Yen worried his parents so much that he was sent to the Wushu Team of the famous Shichahai Sports School in Beijing for two years. The road to performance
