What are the important composers in Northern Europe?

When it comes to classical music, we often think of the symphonies of German and Austrian composers, the enthusiasm of Russian composers and the romantic style of France at first, but Nordic composers have also made valuable contributions to the music prosperity in the19th century. Their works are simple and lively, or full of folk flavor, or full of religious philosophy, and they can always feel a little excitement and surprise while wandering. Here are two Nordic composers you can't miss.

Edvard Grieg

The composer Edvard Grieg (1843- 1907) was born in Bergen, the second largest city in Norway. His ancestors were immigrants from Scotland. My father reads widely and my mother studies vocal music in Hamburg. Grieg often listened to his mother play Mozart, Beethoven and Chopin when he was a child. /kloc-at the age of 0/5, Greg accepted the advice of Norwegian violinist O 'Bull and went to Leipzig Conservatory of Music for further study.

Jean Sibelius

Sibelius (1865- 1957) is one of the most famous and favorite Nordic composers. His representative works include seven symphonies, poems "Ode to Finland", "Pathetic Waltz", "Carrera Suite" and "Swan on the River Tuniera".
