According to the regulations of China Customs, every passenger over 18 can only carry $2,000 or its equivalent when leaving the country. Passengers leaving the country with professional cameras or video cameras must declare to the customs. Each passenger over 18 can bring two (400) duty-free cigarettes and two bottles of duty-free wine (each bottle shall not exceed 750 ml) when entering the country. Passengers are not allowed to bring any printed matter, obscene articles, audio-visual products and other contraband into the country.
When entering the United States and Canada, each passenger above 18 can carry 200 cigarettes and a bottle of spirits (no more than 750 ml, and the alcohol content should not exceed 22 degrees). Customs in the United States and Canada prohibit passengers from carrying all animals and plants and their products.
