Where is the location of Daning Dusi?

In the Ming Dynasty, "Daning" was located in Ningcheng County, Chifeng City, Inner Mongolia, and Zhu Quan, the son of Zhu Yuanzhang 17, was made king of Ning in Daning.

Daningcheng Site is located in Daming Town, southwest of Ningcheng County, Inner Mongolia, with seven old Tushan in the west, Nuruhur Mountain in the east and Laoha River in the south of Xiliaohe River. Daning controls the upper reaches of Liaohe River in the north, borders Daling River basin in the east, Fu Xuan in the west and Yanshan Great Wall in the south, which has a very important strategic position.

The upper reaches of Liaohe River where Daning is located belong to semi-arid climate, which is suitable for agriculture and animal husbandry. Daning Military Region is an important military organization and defensive zone in the northeast and west of Ming Dynasty. In the twentieth year of Hongwu (1387), Daning Dusi was established to govern Daning Wei (now the west of Ningcheng County, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region). The jurisdiction is now north of the Great Wall in Hebei Province and the Xilamulun River in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. In the second year, it was changed to North Parallel Dusi.

In the first year of Yongle (1403), the capital of Daning was moved to Baoding (now Baoding, Hebei). Since then, Daning Dusi, which had been in operation for 12 years in the Ming Dynasty, has been abandoned, and all its guards have been abolished. Some of them moved to the south of the Great Wall, never recovered, and were gradually occupied by the Northern Yuan Dynasty.
